The fact finding committee of the revolution of June 30 issued its final report at the time the Missouri police officer who killed an unarmed black teenager was aquitted.The court found he was acting in self defense when he shot Brown, the black young man.
The officer doesn’t have a proof that the black man was a threat to his life when he shot him. Now, the Egyptian police that dispersed Rabaa Adawia sit-ins have many proofs and videos that protestors of Rabaa were violent and dangerous.
In the two events, police attacked and killed suspects, as self defence doesn’t need much time before taking the decision. It’s a matter of life and death. I wonder how come American human rights activists then refuse so many evidence that protestors at Rabaa used weapons and violence.
The black man has not used sniper to kill police officers or violated the law just like protestors of Rabaa did, yet he was killed for the officer thought he was life threatening.
I defend Egyptian police here, but I find they guilty and negligant as I had mentioned in several articles.
