Where is the news ?

The Ministry of Antiquities said it seized an archaeological stone that was placed on display at a market in Gharbiya governorate on Friday.

The initial inspection of the stone showed that it dates back to the Ptolemaic era, said the ministry in a statement, adding that the stone has no inscriptions.

The stone was safely transferred to Behbit al-Hegara Temple in Gharbiya.

Director General of Behbit archaeological area Ehab Zaher was quoted as saying that Behbit area was a source of stones used by citizens in construction in ancient Egypt.
