Edward Ghalib, Member of the committee supervising the papal elections said the committee has decided that the last day for receiving nominations for the papacy is Saturday, May 19.
Ghalib told Copts United that the committee has checked carefully all documents presented by the 13 candidates. He added the committee is thinking whether they are going to announce only the preliminary list of the 7 candidates who will run for papacy, or to announce all the nominees.
