Austria: Muslims celebrate the centenary of the state recognition of Islam

Muslim community in Vienna has celebrated the centenary of the state recognition of Islam since 1912, as well as the new elected Islamic president, Dr. Mohammed Mursy.

The ceremony included artistic performances of the singer Maher Zain, and was attended by many young people of Muslim community in Vienna.

It's worth mentioning that Muslim community in Vienna is estimated in 2009 as 200.000 Muslims in Vienna, and half million Muslims all over Austria.
