Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is due to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel for talks in Berlin Thursday, a German government spokesperson announced on Tuesday.
"The two leaders will discuss the Middle East peace process as well as bilateral and regional topics during their meeting on March 4," Merkel's spokesperson added.
Mubarak last visited Berlin in April 2008, and Merkel held talks with the Egyptian President in Cairo in January 2009.
