Member of the High Board of the Nour Party, Salah Abdel Maboud said that they would not support a candidate except after studying each program for each presidential candidate, and making sure that it is achievable in reality.
The party prefers holding parliamentary elections prior to the presidential elections, as agreed upon in the road map, and any changes to the constitutional declaration will cause conflicts in political life, said Abdel Maboud in a statement from the party.
Abdel Maboud pointed out that holding parliamentary elections will bring in a legally elected parliament, which will have the power of legislation, but in the case that presidential elections are held first, the president will have all authorities in his power.
