QALYUBIA: A conference in the town of Kafr Shukr organized by the 50-member committee that amended the constitution had a large turnout on Saturday.
“The amended constitution is aligned with the January 25 Revolution, June 30 and July 3,” said a member of the 50-member committee, Khaled Youssef, at the conference.
Youssef also thanked President Adly Mansour for awarding the highest state honor, the Order of the Nile, to Tagammu Party founder and former member of the Free Officers Movement, Khaled Mohieddin.
Amr Moussa, head of the 50-member committee, attended the conference along with a large number of the committee’s members. The conference was heavily secured, and a number of police cars were stationed outside the conference.
