Five cases suspected to be infected with swine flu in Sharqiya

Medical sources in Sharqiya said two women suspected of being infected with H1N1, also known as swine flu, are currently being treated in a hospital in Zagazig.

Samples were taken from both patients and were sent to Health Ministry laboratories in Cairo to analyze whether they were infected, according to the sources

A doctor from Abu Kebeer Hospital said he currently has a case in which a high school girl is believed to have been infected with the virus. She went to a clinic for treatment and is being isolated at home.

The doctor said her case is stable and that she is being treated, adding that in many cases, people are infected with the virus but refuse to inform health departments.
