Pope Tawadros II, pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, visited today His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Pope of the Armenian Orthodox at the Catholic Armenian Orthodox Church of St. Krikor (Gregory the Illuminator).
Pope Aram I said that both the Coptic and Armenian churches belong to the Orthodox family and have deep relations with each other that will hopefully work together for the Christian unity.
On his part, Pope Tawadros said that the two churches have common history and faith that they should invest in order to serve the Christian unity all over the world.
