Field Marshal Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, Egypt's former Defense Minister, visited pope Tawadros II - Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See – to offer his sincere condolences on the death of the Pope's mother, who passed away on Friday.
A number of ministers, bishops and public figures have also visited the Pope to offer their condolences on the death of his mother.
