Coptic Orthodox Church had denied in a statement today the rumors that some religious leaders are trying to mobilize the congregants to vote in favor of presidential candidate Abdul Fattah al-Sisi.
Minya diocese announced that the Church doesn't force anybody to vote for certain candidates, but it rather encourages the people to participate and cast their votes.
Statement added that the Church only demands equality among citizens.
