Dr. Shaaban Abdel-Alim, leading member of al-Nour ultra conservative party, said the party welcomes nominating the Copts on their electoral list for the upcoming parliamentary elections and there is nothing to prevent such nomination.
He added that there is no dispute over nominating the Copts on al-Nour electoral lists, especially as the election law orders to nominate a number of Copts on each list.
