Peter Ramses, Coptic lawyer and adviser to the Association of Copts 38, demanded the government to legalize adoption for the Copts.
He explained that Christianity permits adoption while Islam doesn’t. Yet, the Egyptian constitution permits the Copts to apply their own legislation. Therefore, he demands the government to allow and legalize adoption for the Copts.
