The trial of former president Mohamed Morsi over charges of spying for Qatar was postponed in a Thursday hearing to May 13, where the case’s exhibits will be unsealed.
Some exhibits were shown before Cairo Criminal Court Thursday, including file containing classified information about the Egyptian military, its enumeration, bases and weaponry.
Morsi is being tried in other case related to escaping from the Wadi al-Natroun prison during the January 25 revolution in 2011.
Two weeks ago, Morsi was sentenced to 20 years in prison for inciting violence outside the Ittihadiya Presidential Palace in 2012, but acquitted of killing protesters during the deadly events.
