Once again, the Israeli arrogance and the Arab shame

With only a few days left until Eid al-Adha, the Israeli occupation wants to prove to the whole world and to us Arabs that it controls the Al-Aqsa Mosque and intends to rebuild Solomon’s Temple.

Arrogant Israeli settlers, protected by soldiers, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, smashed the Mughrabi Gate, burned the carpets and expelled the Palestinian and other Muslim worshipers.

Everyday the world watches the Jewish incursions on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Hebron, the hometown of Abraham, the father of all prophets, whereas the Israeli occupation forces know very well that they are bound by international conventions to take care of the citizens of the occupied territories.

It is clear Israel is planning to change the identity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque despite the will of the helpless true owners of the land.

Where are the Palestinian factions?

Where is the Arab League?

Where is the international community?

Unfortunately, the Palestinian factions are not united in the face of the occupation. They are divided between groups that do resist the occupation and others like Hamas that vaunt political Islam and are preoccupied with attacking Egypt and its army, who have actually been helping the Palestinian cause since 1948.

I thought all this Israeli aggression would drive the factions to a massive uprising, but none of this happened. Still, I believe that people who have rights will get them if they truly fight for it. And the Palestinian people do have historical and geographical rights in accordance with international law.

I have always said the Palestinian brothers may differ in approach and perspective as much as they wish after they liberate their country. But before liberation, differing is treason.

As to the Arab League, are the member states really in agreement regarding the Palestinian issue? Only Egypt and Jordan condemned the Israeli aggressions, while the rest of the members kept silent.

I call on the Arabs to form armies and resist the Israeli dream of a state that extends from the sea to the river, as mentioned in the Torah, which also tells them they are God's chosen people, while the Arabs are relics of ancient history.

We have the choice to be or not to be.
