Coptic Patriarch, Pope Tawadros II is scheduled to meet with President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi on Thursday, ecclesiastical sources revealed to Youm7.
According to the unidentified sources, The Egyptian president will meet with Tawadros at Heliopolis presidential palace, while the issues scheduled to be discussed during the meeting have not been revealed.
The Coptic patriarch met with the members of parliamentary religious committee this week to discuss the recent sectarian incidents witnessed in Upper Egypt’s province Minya during the recent period in addition to the controversial churches building law due to be discussed by the parliament in the current parliamentary round.
