Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, called the Copts abroad to cancel demonstrations before the White House to renounce the recent sectarian attacks against Copts in Upper Egypt.
For its part, the Canadian Coptic Association announced to cancel the demonstrations before the Canadian Parliament scheduled on August 13, but the Coptic Solidarity organization in the United States said the demonstrations are going to be held on time, and buses will transfer the demonstrators from several states in America.
