Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, Assistant to the Egyptian President for National and Strategic Projects, announced the invention of a new Egyptian technology for water treatment, which was reached by the Egyptian scientist Dr. Nabil Al Maraghi.
The new technology is characterized by low cost and energy consumption, as well as taking smaller area to build the unit. It was tested at the Center for Scientific and Technological Excellence of the Ministry of Military Production and can be used to treat seawater and desalination.
