Egypt s Pyramids FC and Masry are likely to seal smooth passage to the African Confederation Cup group stage on Sunday after claiming comfortable first-leg advantages in the first legs of the competition s playoff round.
Masry host Cote d or of Seychelles in an afternoon kick-off in Port Said, having crushed their lowly opponents 4-0 last week on the road to all but book a ticket to the group phase.
Under coach Ihab Galal, the club have been gradually increasing their firepower, with Palestinian striker Mahmoud Wadi in particular earning plaudits for some fine displays.
