Tunisian authorities will release the tickets of Friday s African Champions League clash between Zamalek and Esperance on Thursday after a brief delay, the hosts said.
The tickets will be released with a probability of decreasing the number of fans attending the game owing to fears over the spread of coronavirus, especially after Tunisia declared that there are infected cases, according to local media reports.
Tunisian media stated that the Ministry of Health advised against playing the game in the presence of fans during a scientific conference held on Wednesday.
Zamalek travelled to Tunisia ahead of their game against Esperance in the second-leg match of the African Champions League quarterfinal. The Whites won the first-leg match at home 3-1 last Friday.
Esperance, who won the latest two editions of the African Champions League, were defeated twice by Zamalek in the last three weeks with the same result, 3-1. The first game was the African Super Cup, which took place in Qatar last month.
