Egypt Cultural Development Fund (CDF), under the Ministry of Culture, has issued a call for talents with special needs to participate in the third edition of the "Golden Talent” competition.
Entries can include solo or group singing, playing an instrument, or a performance.
Applicants are requested to submit a sample of their work that does not exceed three minutes through the CDF s website.
The competition accepts entries from Egyptians who have hearing, mental or motor disabilities.
This year the competition expanded its scope to young people aged 15-30 who have visual impairment.
Works can be submitted by an applicant or a private or governmental institution taking care of the applicant s development.
Submission can be made from 9 August with a deadline of 10 September.
The competition is an initiative of Fathy Abdel-Wahab, head of the Cultural Development Fund, in cooperation with El-Balad Today s Development Society.
