His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, signed a cooperation protocol with Ambassador Nabila Makram Abdel-Shahid, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, within the framework of the presidential initiative "Survival Boats" to raise awareness of the dangers of illegal immigration.
The initiative was launched by the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the World Youth Forum in December 2019.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II said that according to the signed protocol, there will be training programs for the development of individual skills for youth, especially in the governorates that export the most illegal immigration.
