Only every 25 years: The Holy Robe is exhibited in Trier City on April 21

Remembering the resurrection of Christ from the dead, Trier cathedral in Trier City, Germany exhibits the holy robe which is a seamless garment said to be worn by Christ during crucifixions. This event only happens every 25 years.

Trier is a historic city in west central Germany, just six miles from the Luxembourg border and 120 miles SW of Frankfurt.

It’s worth mentioning that Trier Cathedral in Germany was the place where Pope Athanasius of Alexandria (328 – 373 AD) was exiled. And the Coptic church has an altar in that cathedral.
