Sabahi warns against postponing the presidential elections

Hamdeen Sabahi, the presidential candidate warned against postponing the presidential elections and said, "We cannot accept the idea of postponing the presidential elections in any way".

Sabahi added that talking about postponing the presidential elections is completely unacceptable, as there is an announced date to hand over the power to an elected president. Egyptian people tolerated 15 month of mismanagement by the Supreme Council of Armed Forces.

The presidential candidate said: “I have been thinking that the best way is drafting the constitution before the presidential elections, but the practices of the Muslim Brotherhood delayed this. I believe the committee to draft the new constitution should be selected as soon as possible with the participation of all national forces without any delay”
