On his twitter account, Dr. Mohammed El Baradei said that the forced displacement of the Copts in Rafah is but a tragedy and a continuation of religious discrimination in Egypt.
He added, “the protection of minorities and full equality among the Egyptians should be the essence of any democratic regime"
On his part, Amr Moussa, former secretary of the League of Arab States, demanded the government to intervene and perform an investigation concerning the forced displacement of the Coptic Christian families in Rafah.
