As the new year approaches and everyone gets ready for new promises and second chances, are we headed for a new beginning? And if we are indeed headed in a new direction, is it a path that we will regret later?
With the introduction of Sharia Law in our government, and conservatism on the rise, is the Egyptian population prepared to become the new Iran? Modesty police? Oppression of the people? The end of religious and civil liberties?
I'm hoping for a different new years resolution, freedom.
