Church Management
Any administration always needs to continuous update and development, or else it would become decayed. Church’s administration is not an exception and it needs management just like other business and organizational activities. That’s why Jesus Christ arranged the work of this foundation to be done and supervised by certain people who are called the clergy.

Management in all business and organizational activities is the act of coordinating the efforts of people to accomplish desired goals and objectives using available resources efficiently and effectively. Without such management, the Church will neither grow vertically (spiritually) nor horizontally (in quantity), especially with the increasing problems of all churches. These escalating problems can’t be solved by the one man show administration.

Here comes the importance of management in the church’s life to determine its mission and organizing. This mission may include evangelism, education, food giving as well as other charity activities. Thousands of people work in the hierarchy of Church institutions just like Moses has chosen his assistances in Exodus 13.

This wise management aims to get the best out of Church’s talents and abilities in order to do all work according to God’s Will. This good management is a gift from the Holy Spirit to serve the kingdom of God and to work for the edification of the body of Christ, which is His Church.

Management comprises planning, organizing, staffing, leading or directing, and controlling an organization (a group of one or more people or entities) or effort for the purpose of accomplishing a goal. Planning is very important to achieve good results and improve the service for the sake of Jesus Christ.
