Resurrection of Egypt

We are lucky to witness such historical events in Egypt that next generations will remember forever. We are going to tell our children about these events as our grandfathers used to tell us stories about Orabi and the revolution of 1919.

We are going to tell our grandchildren that June 30, 2013 was not an ordinary day, as in this day Egypt was restored after it was stolen by the Muslim Brotherhood. In that day, more than 22 million Egyptians voted of no confidence in the Brotherhood's regime and about 17 millions demonstrated against it till they were ousted.

In that day, the people restored their legitimacy. They said clearly: We gave you this legitimacy, and now you don't deserve it. Thus, we take it back.

The Muslim Brotherhood is now expired, after their many lies are exposed. They claimed they have magic formula to cure the problems of Egypt, and the people believed them and gave them the chance. However, they proved they can only work in secret and suspicious organization, but can do nothing to help Egypt. After their great failure, they had to leave the platform willingly or even by force.

Now we hear the people singing for Egypt after the Muslim Brotherhood has tried to convert Egypt from a big civilized country with great history to a mere emirate in their illusionary Islamic Caliphate.

The Copts participated in this revolution as a fundamental part of the Egyptian people. This came after the Muslim Brotherhood had failed to terrify the Copts not to participate in the demonstrations. In fact, they participated willing to offer their lives for their country and achieved the victory along with their fellow Egyptians

The Church has been committed as spiritual organization to play a social role in order to serve Egypt. The MB didn't like such social role, as they only expected the Church to prevent its children from participating in the demonstrations; however, such role is not accepted anymore by the Coptic Christians after the revolution of January 25, when the people enjoyed freedom of speech. The Pope blessed the revolution encouraging his children to participate in the demonstrations and respect the others.

The whole world supports the Egyptian people. The American Administration couldn't ignore millions of Egyptians demonstrating in the streets. The Muslim Brotherhood got into bloody clashes with peaceful demonstrators, causing many dead people and injuries. On July 3, 2013, the chief of the Armed Forces made an announcement to support the Egyptian people, and put an end to the Brotherhood in power, which was apparently a decision to resurrect Egypt.
