Dear US: Please Stay Away

I have lately noticed a lot of unclear and confusing news coming from the States. I believe that because a big country like the States couldn’t come to a decision about what has happened in Egypt, America failed to understand what’s going on. If we looked at the foreign policy of America in the last 10 years, we would find a lot of mistakes in those polices. Starting from Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and ending with Egypt.

America has become one of the weakest countries in understanding the changes that are happening in the Arab region recently. America has always just understood power, nothing else, and it forgot that power and weapons can’t solve all problems in the world right now. It couldn’t understand that the world changed since the Second World War.

We as Egyptians want to address a message to America: stay away. Stay out of our affairs. The Egyptian people are adults and can choose who is best to rule Egypt regardless of your advice, which, by the way, could lead Egypt to a big disaster.

I suggest making a national boycott to America. Meaning, no one visit America during a period of time and no one connect with anyone responsible in the American government until they can understand that we have our own way of Democracy without their interference.

America supported terrorists in Libya and they lost. They are supporting terrorists in Syria and they are losing now. They invaded Iraq and they lost. All countries that America tried to interfere with in their issues lost, so why can’t America learn the lesson?
