Morsi to defend himself in court

CAIRO: Ousted President Mohamed Morsi will have to defend himself in court for his trial, scheduled on November 4, according to Mohamed al-Sisi, member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s legal committee.

Sisi said that the lawyers, who are also part of the Brotherhood’s legal committee, will have trouble appearing in court because most of them have charges filed against them.
However, Sisi said that Morsi will have no trouble defending himself considering that he is quite knowledgeable of Egyptian law and used to be a member of the People’s Assembly.
