Mohamed Ibrahim, representative of al-Nour ultra conservative party in the fifty-members committee to amend the constitution, has decided to withdraw after his explanation to the Islamic Sharia in the constitution was refused.
This came after he tried to add the phrase "provisions of Islamic Sharia" to the explanation of the Islamic Sharia in the constitution, which was rejected by other members of the Committee.
