Means of media are numerous nowadays, but there is no charter of honor to control them. Media have become a commodity to be sold without pangs of remorse. It became more of a business and investment that only aims to gain money even by spreading false information and threatening the national security. Therefore, several journalists are paid a lot of money to achieve such filthy goals. Media should be neutral as powerful weapon to save the community and preserve the dignity and rights of the people.
I offer my sincere condolences to all families and people of Tunisia, Kuwait and France in their victims who were killed by the brutal terrorism. Moreover, I pray for speedy recovery for the victims of such terrorist attacks. The terrorist attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait and France resulted in killing many innocent people and wounding others. Such attacks raise anger of many people against all sorts of terrorism. Economic Conference in Sharm El Sheikh was a great challenge for the Egyptians, but came also as savior to our country. Our enemies were hoping that it will render great failure, but the conference achieved great success that exceeded all expectations. Huge multitudes attended the conference that was well-secured and organized proving that Egypt has restored its power and important role in the region.
The Supreme Constitutional Court (SCC) ruled the Electoral Districts Law unconstitutional, resulting in the postponement of parliamentary elections until the questioned law is amended. The court refused other appeals on the law defining political rights issued ahead of the presidential elections last May, and the law organizing the establishment of the parliament. The Electoral Districts Law was issued by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi last December, and includes two sections. Each divides the country into electoral constituencies, according to the two voting systems available: the closed list and the individual list.
