A limited fire has in the Church of Archangel Michael in Nag Hammadi after a fire broke out in some of the coffins prepared for funerals in case of deaths. A church source said that the fire probably started with a candle, as some servants were carrying out the cleaning process of the church, but the fire was controlled without any losses in the church or casualties

The evangelical community in Egypt, headed by Dr. Reverend Andrea Zaki, expressed its shock and deep sadness over the huge explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital Beirut on Tuesday, leaving behind great destruction and hundreds of victims. The President of the Evangelical community said: We share the feelings of pain with the Lebanese people, and we stand in solidarity with them in this humanitarian catastrophe, and we pray to God to grant condolences and patience to the families of the victims and the speedy recovery of the injured.

Churches of Tima reopened today after 4 month of closure due to the spread of Corona virus. Bishop Isaac of Tima said that only 50 people are able to attend each Holy Mass in the grand churches, and 25 in the chapels, and everybody have to follow the rules of social distancing and wearing masks.
