Egypt's Prime Minister Hisham Kandil on Saturday urged all political forces to lift any political cover for the "advocates of violence".
He said that Egypt has recently experienced "some attempts to drive the country into a viscous cycle of violence," in a statement he issued.
Kandil stressed the necessity of maintaining the peacefulness of the political process and devoting all efforts to the establishment of democratic institutions.
