Assem Abdel Majid calls for Islamic revolution

Assem Abdel Majid, leader of the Islamic group, said the group has lost 3000 members under Mubarak's regime, and they are willing to offer more in order to achieve their goals. He added: "We're going to lead an Islamic revolution in Egypt in case Morsy is over thrown".

We're not going to escape or hold our peace as those who oppose President Mohammed Morsy might think, including the remnants of the former regime, Coptic fanatics and the Communists. I believe those people should be stopped somehow, he said.

Furthermore, he accused the Coptic Church of mobilizing crowds to participate in the demonstrations, especially after Pope Tawadros II had met with the American Ambassador.
