What we have seen last Friday from the Muslim Brotherhood and their demonstration in Nasr city led us to an important discovery. We now see that Saudi Arabia played an important role in changing the nature of the Egyptian Society.
The Egyptian Society is paying the price of poverty, which leads a lot of Egyptians to go to Saudi Arabia to search for work. However, instead of receiving just a salary, they also brought back customs and fanaticism. We are now in a big dilemma because this Islamic trend is not an Egyptian one but coming from Saudi Arabia, which is completely different from moderate Islam.
I believe that education will play an important role next in the few years to fix what was ruined by poverty. Education is our next battle, and if we failed in changing the education system to teach culture, the Egyptian culture will be in a critical situation.
Education is the main key for Egyptian progress, not just in an industrial way, but also in an intellectual way. If we could not move away from the current scenario we are in now, and be more effective to search about how to liberate the education system from the Muslim Brotherhood, we do not have any chance to save Egypt from the wrong hands.
This means that we should prepare ourselves for all possibilities. We should prepare ourselves for the next parliamential election so that the opposition can form the government and save the educational system from the Muslim Brotherhood.
I remember in one of my trips outside Egypt, I met one of the children from a school. He was very young, and although he was young, he seemed to be exceptionally knowledgable, especially in technology.
Education is not the only thing that will save Egypt from the Islamic current, but it will give us a chance to compete outside and be able to return back to the Egypt we used to know. Will the opposition listen to this blazing alarm or they will continue just talk on TV?
