Much to my surprise, I have come to learn that Egypt is actually quite split on those who oppose Morsi and those who are for him. As June 30th approaches, I can't help but fear for the lives that will be lost. Will their deaths be in vain? Will Morsi step down? If Morsi steps down, who is fit to take his place?
There are too many pieces of the puzzle missing. I unfortunately believe that continuation of such protests like June 30th, will further divide the country. We are already living in chaos. No electricity at times, no gas at times, a suffering economy. Add to that national divide and citizen unrest? When will Egypt get back up on its feet?
