Samir Markos, former assistant of the president, told Copts United that the relationship between the Coptic Church and the presidency is very bad, and expected that the Presidency will cut the relations with the Church soon.
He added that the Presidency is trying by all means to provoke the Church and ignore the rights and feelings of the Copts.
Markos said that President Mohammed Morsy in his last speech has tried to intimidate the Coptic Christians to avoid participating in the upcoming demonstrations on June 30 when talking about the Coptic Church.
