After hearing the statement of the Armed Forces on July 3, many Egyptians rejoiced as the Muslim Brotherhood was overthrown. However, Western and American media described this great victory in Egypt as a coup.
I wasn't amazed by this, as I lived in Europe for more than 30 years, and I pretty much understand how they think. However they respect freedom of speech, it has its limits. For example, nobody can talk there with admiration or acceptance of the Nazi era or Hitler. Such act may lead a person to prison as well as a big fine, or at least to lose his or her job. French writer Roger Garaudy was sent to jail as he underestimated the number of people killed by Hitler in one of his books. This shows that the West, despite believing in freedom of speech, doesn’t allow such ideas that may cause damage to its communities.
Another example about a high school teacher who was a communist that worked in Switzerland. She was dismissed as she announced her ideology before her pupils in class.
So, the West is trying to preserve its values and achievements. It's trying to protect its civilization after years of struggle. How come they have the right to put certain limits in order to protect their freedoms and prevent us from having the same right? Why they don't allow us to protect our country from this fascist group that does not recognize Egypt as an independent nation.
Hypothetically, How would the West react against any group, even if it comes to power through fair elections, and tries to incite sectarian strife or a civil war? Will the West accept such democracy? I don’t think so.
The West should stop supporting the fake legitimacy of the Muslim Brotherhood as soon as they see millions of Egyptian in the streets defending their stability and civilization. Those ancient civilized people have the same rights the West has.
Enough crowing and talking about democracy, you idiots of America. Allow Egypt to be free from your devil plans that brought the Muslim Brotherhood in power. We are awake now, and won’t be deceived any more in the name of your fake democracy.
O Western politicians, especially the Americans, stop talking about a military coup as what happened in June 30 was a revolution by the people demanding freedom and real future. Such demands were simply supported by the Army. Do you get it? It seems like you got angry as the terrorists you supported were ousted before they apply your plans to divide Egypt? No way, we are going to make our future just as our fathers made their history.
