Presidential Advisor for Political Affairs Mostafa Hegazy has said that the presidency may contact the Brotherhood and other political parties in a week, in the context of national reconciliation.
At a press conference from the presidential palace on Wednesday, Hegazy said that the presidency's focus was on the roadmap for the future, pointing out that the first step is to amend the Constitution through a committee, the work of which is to be reviewed by another committee of 50 members representing all facets of Egyptian society.
He also said that there is a need for national reconciliation and for explaining the meaning and value of the constitution to the people.
