Armenian ambassador to Egypt met patriarch of Coptic Orthodox Church

Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Egypt Armen Melkonyan held a meeting with Patriarch of Coptic Orthodox Church Tawadros II. "Armenpress" was informed from Press, information and public relations department of Armenian foreign affairs ministry that at the meeting was also present leader of Armenian diocese in Egypt Grigor Ogostinos bishop Gusan.

During warm and honest conversation there was a reverberation to Armenian-Egypt traditional historic cultural relations, the process and prospects of development of current relations in various spheres as well as to regional issues.

Patriarch of Coptic Orthodox Church Tawadros II transferred his friendly greetings to Supremee Patriarch and Catholicons of All Armenians Karekin II.
