HG Abba Macarius, Bishop of Minya, said that the customary reconciliation meeting of Beni Ahmed village, Minya, was not attended and it's decisions were not signed by affected Christians in the village whose properties and Church were burnt.
He added that neither the state or reconciliation meeting have decided to compensate the affected Christians for their losses that exceeded 3.5 million EGP.
It's worth mentioning that the diocese receives donations to help the affected Christians on account number 01010101850 - National Bank of Egypt.
