President Obama’s allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood – and to the cause of Islamization as a whole – is very obvious; it is also disturbing that a United States President clearly places such loyalty ahead of the interests of the nation. It becomes less of a mystery, however, when one realizes that the President has direct family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood: His half-brother, Malik Obama, is – at least indirectly – a member of the organization.
The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization. This is not a matter of speculation or opinion; it is a solid fact. The Brotherhood gave birth to a number of terrorist groups – the al Qaeda network among them, as well as Hamas, which was founded as the Palestinian branch of the Brotherhood.
Even during the current crisis in Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood supporters are carrying out genocidal attacks on that country’s Coptic Christian community, as well as kidnapping and executing members of the Egyptian security forces. The Brotherhood has openly expressed support for the al Qaeda-affiliated opposition in Syria and the Brotherhood’s former Egyptian dictator, Mohamed Morsi, has been personally connected to terrorist attacks, including the Hamas-led assault on the Egyptian prison in which he was formerly incarcerated and the armed attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Many have suggested that the US President is, himself, Muslim. This is not so ridiculous, when one considers that he was raised – for at least part of his early life – as such, and educated in a madrassa, an Islamic school. Statements by the President himself lend further credence to this speculation: During an address to the United Nations General Assembly in September, 2012, he said “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” In 2009, whilst speaking in Ankara, Turkey, the President also said of the US that “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation,” despite the fact that the country was, clearly, founded upon Judeo-Christian principles and the vast majority of Americans do, indeed, consider America a Christian nation. Lastly, there is the well-documented fact that the President’s family in Kenya is a Muslim family, with several family members being extensively linked to fundraising for organizations that promote Islamization.
For balance, it should be pointed out that speculation about the President’s personal religious convictions is just that – speculation. He has often spoken out on the subject of religious tolerance – even though, as President, he has repeatedly failed to condemn the growing trend of demonizing and marginalizing Christians and the Christian faith in America.
Another little-known fact about Obama’s life and family history has become starkly relevant, given the current developments in North Africa: Covered in the Egyptian and Saudi press, as well as CNN’s Arab-language division, but ignored by the mainstream media in the US, are the activities of the President’s half-brother. Malik Obama is the executive secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO). This entity was founded by Hassan al-Turabi, longtime leader of the Sudanese political party, the National Islamic Front – itself an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. For many years, al-Turabi was seen as the power behind the Sudanese government and permitted safe harbor for Osama Bin Laden, during the latter’s years in Sudan. In this capacity, it is claimed, Malik overseas the Muslim Brotherhood’s international investments. This claim has been made by Tahani Al-Jebali, former Chancellor of the Constitutional Court of Egypt. Al-Jebali proposes that the Obama administration has been overtly sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood precisely because of these family ties.
Another – and perhaps even more disturbing – association is that of Malik Obama and Omar al-Bashir, Sudan’s former President, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court on charges of genocide and other crimes against humanity. Although Malik Obama and al-Bashir seem to have been careful not to be photographed together, they were both speakers at a 2010 IDO conference in Khartoum. Also in attendance at this conference was Hassan al-Turabi and Suar Al Dahab, Malik’s boss at the IDO. Al Dahab, for his part, is a known associate of Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas Prime Minister, and Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader.
Whilst it is true that President Obama cannot be held responsible for the actions or associations of his half-brother, it cannot be denied that the two have always been close; Malik Obama has visited the White House; the two have been photographed together numerous times and Malik was best man at Barack’s wedding. Malik Obama founded the Barack H Obama Foundation, which was arbitrarily granted tax-exempt status in the US.
One should consider that family connections to terrorist organizations would not only render any private American citizen ineligible to serve in the US armed forces, or be hired for any number of government jobs, but would also make them subject to surveillance and, quite possibly, investigation. The fact that such well-documented ties can be traced to no less a person than the President of the United States makes one wonder how Barack Hussein Obama was obviously able to completely evade any vetting process. Whilst, in a free society, there should be few barriers to running for public office, the position of Commander-in-Chief is far too sensitive and important to expose to someone with such dubious links as our current leader.
