The Egyptian Popular Current staged a protest on Sunday in Cairo's downtown Talaat Harb Square against military intervention in Syria and what they described as the "American and Western threats of aggression".
Dozens have participated in the protests, including popular activist Ahmed Douma and National Salvation Front Member Hussien AbdelGhany.
The protesters chanted against American President Barack Obama and for a "Free Syria".
