Egyptian publisher released
Egyptian police Sunday night released a publisher, arrested allegedly over printing a book on Mohamed El Baradei, the former chief of the UN nuclear watchdog, The Egyptian Gazette Online has learnt. Ahmed Mehana was detained  on Saturday from his house in Imbaba near Cairo for publishing :"ElBaradei and The Green Revolution", a book by Egyptian journalist Kamal Gabriel, said his family and friends.
    They said that a unit from the State Security Police had arrested him and seized his personal computer and 16 copies of the book in a raid on his house.
 
Gabriel, the author, said he was shocked at the arrest as his book did not glorify ElBaradei.
Mohamed ElBaradei, who has condemned the arrest, is a potential presidential contender, and is campaigning for radical constiutional changes.
