During the seminar today about the burned churches in Upper Egypt organized by Copts United foundation, Hasaballah Kafrawi, former Minister of Housing has launched a donation campaign to restore the demolished churches and compensate the affected families. Moreover, he made a donations of 500 EGP.
He added that the criminals responsible for such sectarian violence should held accountable for their crimes.
The seminar was held in Cairo’s Helton Ramsis, with the participation of Gen. Fouad Allam, former deputy of SSI, Abdallah Kafrawi, former Minister of Housing, Dr. Michel Fahmi, political analyst, Isaac Ibrahim, coordinator of Egyptian initiative for personal rights, Dr. Refaat El Said, head of National Assembly Party, and Dr. Sherif Doss, head of the general body of the Copts.
