“The divine religion of Islam does not have Jihad of women,” said one of Tunisian Moftis, Hamdeh Saeid. Hamdeh Saeid pointed to the Prophet’s (PBUH) times and underscored even at those times, Muslim women did not make Jihad.
“Coining such name in the religion is a heresy in religion and those of people who invite Muslim women to do such measure actually are inviting them to a Haram move,” said the religious cleric.
In this regard, some other Tunisian religious leaders and even official warned Muslims of the spread of such phenomena in Muslim countries and underlined the importance of informing Muslims for standing against such new wave.
