Coptic Cristian Churches have expressed their solidarity with the "prayer campaign" launched by the "Association of victims of kidnapping and enforced disappearances".Representatives of the Coptic Orthodox, Catholic, and Evangelical Churches have prayed for the abducted girls, while the Coptic Orthodox Church in Canada have published a list of their names to be mentioned in the prayers of its congregation.
The campaign has invited the Egyptian government to sign the Treaty of Chapter IV of United Nations’ human rights concerning the protection of all persons against enforced disappearance and apply it.
