Taher Hashemi, Shi’ite leader, called the Egyptian authorities to save the Egyptian Shiites after the Salafist Call had incited against them in leaflets distributed in mosques right after Eid al-Adha prayers.
He warned against another massacre of Shiites smilier to the one of Abu Mosallam village near Cairo that occurred under the presidency of Mohamed Morsy, in which four Shia Muslims were killed and dragged through the streets.
