Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the case against former presidential candidate Ahmed Shafiq as well as, amongst others, his daughters, until 11 December.
The court will listen to the testimonies of other witnesses in that time, officials said.
The defendants face charges of seizing public money, fraud, profiteering, and willful damage of public money worth LE 30 million, in addition to money laundering of LE 5 million related to a construction project on Egypt's north coast.
